Before having a tooth contoured at Ridgeline Family Dentistry, we’ll need to make sure that there’s enough healthy enamel. Since recontouring slightly reduces the thickness of your tooth, weak or “thin” teeth can potentially be sensitive after the procedure. This minor irritation usually goes away within a few days or couple of weeks as your nerve adjusts to the new anatomy around it.
